Intelligent Automation has proved to be a boon for humanity. It has revolutionized business functions. Work functions were mainly delegated to human labor. The office environment mostly consisted of Human Resource Personnel. Human labor was the primary input in any large-scale and small-scale processes. With the introduction of technology, the business environment underwent a massive change. Human labor has been reduced to a minuscule quantitative element. Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence have assumed huge significance.

So what changes have technological up-gradation brought about in the Human Resource Functions of the Office Environment? It has introduced a new paradigm called Business Function Automation or Intelligent Automation. Intelligent Automation refers to the process of orienting business functions through artificial intelligence mechanisms. In most cases, computer-generated chip memory performs complicated business tasks. Data Management, Data Storage, and Data Allocation are the primary functions of Intelligent Automation.

Apart from that, it also performs other Human Resource Functions. Therefore it has played an important role in integrating the business environment and bringing about professionalism in a business environment. So when did this new age of Intelligent Automation dawn upon us? Read on to find out the different examples cited to identify the age of Intelligent Automation.

What the new generation of intelligent automation looks like?

The new-age technology of Intelligent Automation is an innovative measure to introduce efficiency in business functioning. It stands at the crossroads of advanced robotics management, deployment of Artificial intelligence modules and Workflow streamlined through cloud platforms.

Firstly, by Robotics Management we refer to the processes involved with the creation and deployment of advanced robots that understand human semantics and discharge work functions accordingly.

Secondly, Artificial Intelligence refers to the process of streamlining business functions through computer-based analytical modules. Thirdly, Cloud Platforms are the storage platforms built by computers over the intangible storage space environment.

Now we come to the analytical segregation of Artificial Intelligence. Firstly, Artificial Intelligence can be divided into four main parts. The first part is Vision, which is called the eye of technology. It helps in orienting human needs by seeing the possibilities associated with machine learning.

The second step is known as Execution. Under this step, we come to know about the different processes through which we can implement or execute robotic interfaces in business organizations and thereby automate human resource functions. This step is also called the Hands and Legs of Business Automation.

The third part is called Language, where the automation robots interpret human languages, understand the command input, and work towards implementing the instructions imparted. Finally, we come to Thinking and Learning. This is referred to as the Brain of AI since it helps in integrating business functions and therefore helps develop analytical skills of the machine learning system.

The ugly, awful, no-good work that IA can help us avoid

Let’s admit it, the organizational work environment is loaded with laborious manual tasks mainly associated with processing and streamlining paperwork. Without an efficient Artificial Intelligence System, the responsibility of storing, interpreting, and managing large-scale data falls on the shoulders of the operational personnel working in the business organization. Therefore incorporation of Artificial Intelligence is necessary to alleviate boredom in the workplace.

When this system will be implemented, they would perform the large-scale laborious tasks which were earlier grouped under Managerial Tasks. They would initiate systems that would help in grouping and aggregating data, cumulatively setting them aside for purposes of future reference and analysis. Therefore, employees will be able to focus on more creative and innovative work processes like designing ideas and suggesting means to implement them in the business organization.

Studies have reported that boredom is one of the most chronic issues in many business organizations. More than 90% of the employees feel disgruntled to perform a daily routine of jobs. Moreover, 92% of organizational employees could care less about surveys and therefore give a neutral point of view on many corporate issues. Therefore under such circumstances, it is critical to ensure that managerial specialization and skill implementation is practiced in business organizations. That can only be done if machine learning applications can take over the burdening work of data handling and storage.

The next facet which we arrive at is the enhancement of Customer Relationships. Moreover, it helps employees attend to basic customer needs and grievances. If they are unable to process customer needs while spending the majority of their time in storage and duplication of data functions, there is a high chance that the customer needs would remain unattended. Therefore relieving the employees of their daily monotonous work is an important consideration that must be kept in mind while establishing employee work guidelines in a business organization. It has been observed that physician burnout during the Pandemic increased to the highest level.

The doctors and physicians have performed a commendable job, by serving the business organizations and helping people in times of desperation. But their administrative duties have come in between their professional obligations. They have been forced to perform administrative functions as well. This has led to overburdening and has caused significant damage to the work rate and efficiency of the employees. Such issues have also been noticed in Planetary conservation.

People have spent a lot of time retracted from the real goals of planetary conservation. Therefore issues like climate change have been suppressed under the burden of other trivial issues. Therefore, from small-scale organizational problems to large-scale climate change issues, we must implement Artificial Intelligence to remove hindrances and ensure a better employee environment.

How companies succeed in IA Transformation

A huge improvement was noticed in the implementation of Artificial Intelligence in business organizations. In 2020, more than 50% of the companies implemented Artificial Intelligence, a huge increase from existing adoptions in 2019. But only 15% of the employee strength were able to scale the information systems and establish them efficiently. Many reasons can be cited for this imbalance. Firstly, to focus more on the implementation of Artificial

Artificial Intelligence agents like Machine Learning Applications, Coding Agencies, etc. must be implemented to ensure better optimization of resources and generate more productivity in business organizations.

The Bottom Line

With the onset of the Pandemic, we have officially entered into a world where a remote working environment would be preferred over a physically interactive work environment. Under such circumstances, we must analyze the working conditions thoroughly to establish guidelines that would help in implementing Artificial Intelligence through the application of Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

Therefore it is necessary to embrace the technological change that Artificial Intelligence is bringing to our lives through the application of basic principles established by the fundamental theories of Work Automation.
